"I called concerning my gas dryer and left a message and within a very short time I received a call back from Don. He scheduled himself to be at my home the following morning and he was on time, which made me quite happy. Most service suppliers will only give you a 4 hour window of their arrival and typically, they either do not call ahead of time or are seriously late. Don is very well versed in his profession and very helpful in offering tips and suggestions. My dryer is now working just like it did when it was new. I would recommend him to anyone anytime; he is very down to earth and pleasant to be around. If I had anything to say that might be considered negative, I don't believe he charges enough for his services. Lakes appliance repair stands heads and shoulders over any of their competitors, as far as I'm considered."

"Our refrigerator broke down, and I gave Don a call. He was able to diagnose the problem over the phone, and was even willing to come over that night to repair it. I scheduled him for the next day, and he showed up on time, and within 30 minutes he had fixed the refrigerator, and was on his way. Very friendly, and great with the family dog! The following week my washing machine broke, so without hesitation I called Don again. Once again, Don showed up on time the next day and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. I will be calling Don for any repair I need in the future. Great businessman with a great attitude, and does great work for a fair price. Thank you so much!"

"After reading Don's online reviews (...which seemed too good to believe), I sent him an email outlining the challenges (...no longer auto-defrosting) my 22-year old Amana frig was having and photos of the frig's manufacturing label listing model number, etc. Just like his reviews stated, Don very quickly replied within the hour. Don gave me a choice: he would walk me through the diagnostics over the phone, or he could swing by later that same afternoon on his way home.
I am NOT used to this high level of customer service from any quarter, I must admit. I was pleasantly surprised, and it reminded me of a different age where it was about the relationship with your customers that mattered most (...I realize that I'm showing my age, here).
Don kept me up to date with his arrival time via text, and gave me a ample time to prepare for his visit.
Upon arrival, he respectfully removed his shoes, quickly diagnosed the issue (...bad defrost timer), replaced the timer, tested the frig, accepted my credit card on his smartphone, emailed me a receipt and thanked me for my business.
All in under 30 minutes. Don has my unreserved recommendation, period. Thank you, sir!"
